Have you ever heard “neurons that fire together wire together”? Have you ever given any thought to what that really means; how it happens and how you can rewire them to serve your needs better?

Let’s cover those items one at a time.

Do you have a success process? If you have one, can you write it down? Does it work every time?

I created a class a few years ago to help participants discover their own unique success process. Feedback told me that most people didn’t realize that what they do and how they do it equals successful results.

Do you want to write a book? How often do you sit down and write? Do you know what you want to write about and have you visualized the outcome in advance? Can you feel the feeling of excitement inside you when you think about it? Do you have faith in yourself to be the person in your vision? Again, how often do you write and what is your deadline?

The decision is the starting point, and I do mean decision, not just a wish. The vision in your mind coupled with the enthusiastic feeling of accomplishment for the sheer joy of doing it is what will get you to work on it every day. Please read that again.

That process can apply to any goal – not just writing a book.

What’s your vision? Are you committed to it? Make a plan. Create a schedule and “just do it” as Nike is famous for saying.

Need motivation? Imagine yourself on your death bed looking back at your life. Will you regret not having done it?

Need inspiration? Read some inspiring quotes at The Gift of You or on my Facebook Page.

Your Own Version of Cool

God puts the dreams in your heart. This is what ignites your every cell to say YES! I want that in my life. Or, YES! I want that for the world. However, if it also feels like a stretch, that’s a good thing. Your intuition is your GPS from God and your Soul.

Here are a few quotes to inspire the activist in you. Whether your cause is your health, your family, money or something else, you do have what it takes to succeed!

“The greatest courage you will ever need is to be the gift you came here to be.”
– Cheryl Healey

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
– Marianne Williamson

“I thank whatever Gods may be
for my unconquerable soul…
I am the master of my destiny;
I am the captain of my soul.”
– From Invictus (Latin/unconquered)
By William Ernest Henley

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
– Margaret Mead

“…You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway.”
– Mother Teresa

There’s an old saying about growing up to be a doctor, lawyer or Indian Chief.  As time evolves, so do the aspirations of young people.  The model of going to college for a good education which will ensure success works for many but usually brings with it large student loans.

Today’s youth have different aspirations.  I’ve met middle school students who want to be basketball stars; doctors; rap musicians; fashion designers, and the list goes on to be as unique as the individual child and their life experiences.

What if children were taught to think outside the box and go inside their hearts for inspiration?

Disney has a job title of “Imagineer” throughout their many companies.  “… Imagineering is letting your imagination soar and then engineering it down to earth.” – Taken from a Time magazine ad from February 16, 1942, titled “The Place They Do Imagineering”

A couple of Adobe’s many unique job titles include “Platform Evangelist” and “Developer Evangelist.”

How cool are all those titles?  Can you imagine waking up each morning knowing you are an “Imagineer” or a software “Evangelist?”  What difference would that make to your attitude and possibilities available to you?  As a testament to that theory, just look at the phenomenal products and experiences created by Adobe and Disney.

I decided to play with this a little.  Having already taken on the title of “The Sensitive Child Advocate,” I’ve added “Wellbeing Evangelist” and “World Wellness Imagineer.”  Doing this elevates your energy to higher possibilities.  From a quantum physics standpoint, what greater things can be attracted because of this higher level of aspiration?

I invite you to take a moment to play with this as well.  Be inspired from the inside out.  It’s fun!

Enjoy being you.  Imagine the possibilities…
